Emma progressed to Northumbria University and recently graduated as an Operating Department Practitioner, she said:
鈥淎fter graduating, I secured a job working as an Operating Department Practitioner with a job in anaesthetics for the NHS. I鈥檝e found I gained a lot of transferable skills whilst doing my apprenticeship, such as reassuring anxious patients and being the advocate for the patient. I love how different anaesthetics is and how there鈥檚 something new every day.鈥�
